The Kentucky Broadcasters Association (KBA) is a 501 c6 membership association established in 1945, with Hugh Potter of WOMI in Owensboro at the helm of its creation. On Wednesday, October 24m 1945, 22 founding members met in Louisville. Today, with over 400 members in the Commonwealth, the KBA strives to serve all of its members by providing educational opportunities, ABIP inspections, training reimbursements and so much more!

Any duly admitted person, form or partnership, corporation or entity licensed to operate any AM/FM or TV broadcasting station with a primary city grade serving any part of Kentucky. Station members are voting members of the association.
Consist of any person, firm, partnership or corporation doing business in Kentucky and engaged in any broadcasting industry-related activity. Associate members are voting members of the association, but are not eligible for reimbursements.
Any person interested in the broadcasting industry, students or educators in broadcasting ot communication programs, employees of non-member broadcasting stations that broadcasting stations that operate with a primary city serving any part of Kentucky or retirees from past member stations. These members are non-voting members and are not eligible for reimbursements.
